Teaching Peace and Conflict Resolution Over the Internet

After the events of September 11, 2001, history teacher Kristen Druker decided to present her students with a way to interface with their world in a more positive manner.

She researched new models to use and came across a Harvard Business School program that addresses conflict resolution through win-win negotiation. The idea being that no one leaves the table until everyone feels like a winner.

As a result, Drucker launched Peace Conferencing, an online interactive program for schools, colleges, and the adult community that provides a gaming simulation based on world conflict resolved at a peace conference.
