The Power of Mobile Devices Like iPad and iPhone in Online Mediation – Let’s Brainstorm Some Creative Ideas – Virtual Mediation Lab Free Webinar – June 30, 2016

As shown in the 2-min video above, mobile devices like iPad, iPhone, Android tablet or smartphone can play a powerful role in the online mediation of consumer/merchant, homeowner/contractor, landlord/tenant, e-commerce disputes and so on. Why? Because, parties can actually show each other (and the mediator) what they are talking about: e.g. which parts of the homeowner’s wall still need to painted by the contractor, or why the item that the buyer received is not as described on the seller’s website.

Considered how many people already own an iPad or iPhone and use it every single day, Virtual Mediation Lab believes that:

  • Mobile Mediation (Online Mediation with Mobile Devices) can open up new markets for mediators
  • In order to explain the benefits of Mobile Mediation to the public, it is necessary to “show” what Mobile Mediation actually means, with short videos that anybody can understand

The Power of Mobile Devices in Online Mediation

Our 30-min Free webinar The Power of Mobile Devices in Online Mediation – Brainstorming Creative Ideas will take place Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Noon/12:00pm Eastern Time (9:00am Pacific Time | 11:00am Central Time | 5:00pm London Time), and  consists of 2 parts:

Presented by Giuseppe Leone, founder of Virtual Mediation Lab.

Why and How an Ipad, Iphone or Smartphone Can Be Very Useful in Online Mediation – 4-min Video in Italian

For those of you who don’t speak Italian, this is what this dispute is about.

When Emanuele hears that Andrea, one of his friends, is desperately looking for a difficult-to-find (and expensive) book, he puts him in touch with Francesco, another good friend. The book, however, turns out not to be “brand new” as Andrea expected, even though he never asked Francesco about its conditions.

As a result, Emanuele, who wants to preserve his good relationship with both friends, suggests them to try and resolve their case with the assistance of an online mediator – Giuseppe.

What This Video Shows
An Ipad, Iphone or smartphone can be very useful during online mediation. That way, one party can show “live” to the other party (and to the mediator) what he or she is talking about and what caused their dispute.

In our video in Italian, the parties’ dispute was only about a book. The same “Don’t Tell Me – Shown Me” approach, however, can also be applied to other cases, as shown below.
