Seeking Volunteer Mediators and ADR/ODR Students for Exploring the Next Frontier for Online Mediation – Mobile Mediation

In our Virtual Mediation Lab, an online mediation project sponsored by the Association for Conflict Resolution – Hawaii Chapter, we have already:

With that know-how and experience, we have now launched a new and exciting project — Mobile Mediation – the next frontier for online mediation.

The 3 goals of this project are:

  • To show – with video recordings of simulations – how parties can now participate in online mediation and share information not only with a PC or Mac but also with their mobile device – Ipad, Iphone, and Android – from wherever they are
  • To understand better the parties’ behavior when they participate in a Mobile Mediation
  • To explore the new market opportunities that Mobile Mediation opens up for mediators around the world

Therefore, we are seeking volunteer mediators and ADR/ODR students with:

  • Some experience in face-to-face or online mediation. If you don’t have enough experience for playing the mediator’s role, you can play the role of one of the parties
  • Ipad, Iphone or Android device
  • Innovative mindset
  • Min. 2 hours per week to dedicate to our project
